Home For The Holidays: Update Your Theme
Getting ready to deck the halls with the same old balls? Try something new this year. Pick one color in your house, or out of your exisitng decorations and build on that as your "theme color". Hopefully, your home's walls and flooring lend itself to a variety of colors and patterns.
Color blocked? Pick a favorite thing or object. For example, birds and decorate your home using that theme as a your inspiration, but staying within the color palette that fits your existing surroundings.
I like to pick unexpected themes. One year we chose orange, and last year we did peacocks.
